This quarterly saddle-stitched magazine consists of 52 pages and is meticulously curated from text, images, and illustrations contributed by the Journal team, resulting in a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing magazine. It is distributed both through mailing and digital downloads to the Guild’s members globally. The Journal serves as the Guild’s flagship publication

The magazine comprises a variety of contributed articles. I manage the project in collaboration with the editor. My responsibilities are designing, proofing, producing, and promptly distributing to members. Over the past seventeen years, I have collaborated with three editors, adapting the magazine to meet their preferences while ensuring the design remains contemporary and relevant.

The Journal

I have designed the layout for the Beadworkers Guild's Journal for the past 17 years. It has gone through numerous transformations over the years to keep the design contemporary and up-to-date.See more covers here. Here is also a link to one of the magazines for you to have a flick through.

NGS Wiltshire

For many years I worked with The National Garden Scheme Wiltshire, creating their booklet for garden enthusiasts. Originally the whole magazine was produced in Wiltshire, but times changed and National Garden Scheme pooled all the information together and hired a design agency in London. I worked continuously with NGS Wiltshire up until the point it wasn't a viable option any further for them to carry on with my services. The joys of competiting against a larger organisation. I had many happy years producing this magazine at a cost rate to help raise money for the worthy organisations NGS supported.
